Hi guys

I dropped by my luthier today, and he had just recieved this marvelous rockbass Corvette. I fell instantly in love, both with looks and price (a rarity to combine those tongue.gif ). I didn`t get to play it more than 2-3 minutes, but I felt real nice.

Unfortunately, I`m unable to find pics of excalty THAT bass, but it was almost black I think, and you saw the wood. The neck was without markers (as I like it), and a really dark and beautiful wood, think it`s wenge or something (I saw that type on the ori. Warwick basses). It may be rosewood as well, but in that case, it must be the most beautiful rosewood I`ve seen.

So, anyone who owns/haev played/have experience with the rockbasses how versatile they are, and how long they`ll last? smile.gif

I have never tried one out but that should be a pretty good bass as I heard. Just try it out for at least 10-15 minutes and see how you like the feel of it (2-3 min is not enough to examine the instrument). Check the action and how comfortable it is and which sounds you can get. Tell us how it goes. smile.gif

No, it`s not the bass you gave a link to Zakk. The one you showed had an all, plain black finish. The one I`m drooling over has a more black/brown tree-ish finish. Im currently on vacation in Switzerland, but I`ll try it out more when I return to Norway in a few days smile.gif

Havent got much experience with basses.. But Warwick is known to make awesome bassguitars, so I dont think you'll run into problems with it smile.gif

I dont think it's a question of quality, more if the bass feels comfortable to you.
