Hey guys just wondering what you the best combo dimarzio pickups are for an rg 550. im replacing the stock pickups in my guitar and wondering what the best combo is. right i really like the Tone Zone sound alot but wondering wheter to get 2 tone zones or mix and match a bit. also the evo's are pretty nice. im looking for a versaltile sound that has nice cleans but also a crisp warm distortion. anyways what do you guys like?

Are you just replacing the humbuckers or the whole set (center as well)?
We were just discussing something similar HERE.
Tone Zone + PAF Pro/PAF Joe.
You can buy the Evo's as a matched set (either with or without the Single Coil)!

If you like the Tonezone, then get tonezones or a TZ brige and Paf Pro neck, but if you stay with DiMarzio and want ''nice cleans but also a crisp warm distortion'' then a Paf Pro set would do you well.

The evolutions are aimed at high gain soloing and they perform well for rock and metal...

It would help to know what sounds you want to achieve with the bridge and the neck and also if you would consider other brands than DiMarzio...
