you could take an existing guitar specs and have something like that costum made with some of your own improvement or some cool coloing, maple top whatever, whatever crazy shape you want, maybe so cool inlays, different fretboared material, its much cooler thab buying an existing guitar for that price. because you will probably be paying half the money for the name on the gutiar(brand name that is)

That is a really REALLY good point. How far off is that from a sweet MK with your specs? I swear there's a thread on Muris' board with some info on how to get a quote from M... uh, was it Mirka?

Anyway, highly skilled luthier.

Mirza!

Only thing is that he doesn't build Full Time, talk to Muris or Chris Evans about approaching him!!

I already did it once just to know the price of a custom I wanted to make but what pickups should I get for that really good metal sound? And I don't want already more than overused EMG combinations. :/

Bareknucle Pickups would be a good choice, IMO, the Warpigs or Painkillers would do the job perfectly biggrin.gif

Hey Jones, cheers for the ideas, about those WB pickups, do you think it's best to mix them up or just go for the neck and bridge pickups of the same time?

All of the WB's are available as a single Neck, single Bridge or as a matched pair!

I don't know about WBs but Bareknuckle custom Pickups from the UK rule big time, like fullmetal_tmd suggested

Yes I know, I was speaking about mixing them like...One H&H neck pickup and one UV20 bridge pickup, is that good?

I don't see any problems with that as long as you match a Neck Unit with a Bridge Unit!!
It wouldn't hurt to e-mail them for pairing suggestions!
