Very interesting - always wanted to learn this type of music. I suspect there are quite a few of us here at GMC that have always enjoyed flamenco but really have no clue where to start. Not only the actual fingering and strumming, but what kind of guitar and equipment would be useful to a starting player?

Welcome mister Rodrigo,

Great to have more flameco instructors on GMC

I saw a flamenco guitar player when I was in Spain (Sevilla and in Barcelona). He was playing on the street and this guy played amazing stuff: full of passion, power and with great technique.

I loved the sound of it and sure want to try to play this kinda style although I have't got a nylon string guitar.

Great! I'm working on a series for beginners in flamenco that will help you to know how to start! About the equipment.. you just need a nylon strings guitar that you find comfortable to start. (and the attitude of hard work) wink.gif
