I think flowers are also working for them but make sure you know which kind and which color. Her friends should know that smile.gif

Yeah. So, not flowers that she's allergic too.... blink.gif

Hmm do you have any idea what she wants/needs? Generally if you get her something the really desires but have no clue you know it - you may have a winner.

Recently, we haven't spend much time together for various reasons. So I think I am going to spend a entire day with her (something much more complicated then it look like) and make her have a great day. I look at the spa and I think it's great. I could bring her for breakfast and cook a good diner also. I think that I am going to get it to the basics.

I spoke with one of her friend earlier and she told me it was a good idea.

I really like your support in quest for becoming the Prince Charming tongue.gif

It's not so hard...
Send flowers the day before, this is worth BIG Points. You have to send them to her work, or some place where other women will see it, this too is BIG points!!! Send a card in the mail. This means a lot, and doesn't take too much. A quiet dinner out, or pack a picnic basket for a romantic picnic, pick a great spot! Pack a bottle of wine, some cheese, and bring something that you know she likes... chocolate or strawberries, some fresh cream... If you offer to her your time and thought, she will be very happy!

I have been married and have two children with my wife for 15 years. I still pick her flowers and make her romantic meals. It's the thought that counts, not all the "stuff".

I would start with some roses delivered early on (maybe with candy).

Follow it up later by taking her out to dinner and a movie.

And then give her a really nice necklace or something.

Would make a great birthday wink.gif

Yep, stick with what works almost every time.

I used to buy crazy stuff before and I realized that I was actually being stupid. My one got a Kinder Egg (with a toy inside) last time and she was happy smile.gif I think flowers are also working for them but make sure you know which kind and which color. Her friends should know that smile.gif

Haha! I'm not a girl but I got the Kinder egg thingy ones and given in the right context it was one of the gifts I have appreciated most. smile.gif The things I remember most are small things but that show's they put some love and thought into it.

A nice idea for those that have everything is a gift certificate for a service too smile.gif

It can be for anything she likes, more than one maybe. Lets say one dinner, one movie, one footmassage one evening out at the pub in different certificates. That way she can use them when she feels like it, plus you don't have to go out shopping like a madman for something she might not want right away.

Spa for instance. If you give her a certificate for a spa weekend (or evening) and let her choose which one she likes best instead of actually booking a time you don't have to book a time she might not be able to attend and she gets to choose both time and place smile.gif
