This is a sketch, an idea to potentially become a full song, but I've played it so many times I can't separate from it anymore. Essentially it's a lament for the fall of Hector at the hand of Achilles.

Opinions?
Criticisms?
Likes?
Dislikes?

If you right click the link, it will take you to the homepage. If you left click it should open the player in a new tab.

Guitars are pretty good. Timing seems a bit acquard to me, did you record with metronome the guitars?
Also the drum is weak and generic sounding, but nothing that cannot be fixed.

I think there's alot of good ideas in that sketch.
Like Ivan said, the timing is a bit off, and some melodies sound a bit random. It's like there's no glue to hold the different sections together.

I really liked the part with the clean guitars. I think it would be great If you finetuned the solos into more distinct melody-lines instead, if that makes sense smile.gif

I didn't use a metronome and the drums are crappy loops that came with my cheap DAW, but I've found some great percussion loops since.

I agree there's no real direction or anything yet. Just some loose ideas so far.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Taking it all onboard to work on. I have another project I've been busy with which I'll post soon. smile.gif
