Sorry if I'm over stepping my boundaries, but I wanted to get this out to some of the newer members that participated in the recent collabs from him. They weren't posted in the usual way that most final mixes are.

That said, David your hard work and comments for me are spot on and I appreciate the time you spend here trying to help us crappy players to become better. smile.gif I learned a lot about discipline, and the Lydian mode from your collab and it has changed the way I approache and practice things. I always wanted to learn how to use the modes to create feeling and I will continue to work as hard as I can. wink.gif

Cheers David

--------------------
"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Thanks david, your comments surprised me (in a good way), it inspires me to practice more. I guess I do take a bit of a different approach, but this was an experiment so I'm glad to hear you liked it.
