My SA260FM seemed like a good guitar. It still seems that way when I pick it up, it feels right in the hands.
But it's not. The SA falls in their current shoddy quality range and for the same or less money you can get a better ibanez from ebay. I bought an RG a year or two before, paid less, but got an instrument almost twice as good in quality. Heck, I bought a GAX from ibanez 5-6 years earlier for maybe 150 and that was better than this SA260. Play one for thirty mintues, I suspect you'll be really surprised how unpleasant they are. -------------------- ::jafomatic

Since you are in Candada, look at the Godin guitar. They are made in Quebec and are pretty cheap in Montreal. They are awesome guitars. I don't know how much they sell it in BC..

It is hard to recommend one in particular. They are pretty different depending on the tone you want to get... I really like the LG Models and The Prestige...

I've just received my deposit back from my old uni house so I may even be able to spend a bit more. The Godin Velocity certainly seems nice.
