i saw on guitar center and sam ash the Planet waves Varigrip finger excercise and i was wondering is it something worth buying?

We've talked about this several times. The general consensus is that it's a cool idea but you'll use it a few times and forget about it.

I bought one a couple years ago, used it a week and never used it again. It's collecting dust somewhere in my apartment laugh.gif

A shredneck is a better choice when you don't/can't have a guitar to practice (going on vacation, etc.)

I guess its a useful exercise but you won't be using it much I guess. And its always better to use the same time for practicing (if you can). I can see this device being useful only when away from home/guitar.

I think it will not serve the function really, it can be used for warmups perhaps, but when is the last time you needed a warm up and didn't have a guitar with you? wink.gif
