Hello

let me briefly introduce myself. My name is Hans-Juergen and I joined this site just a few days ago.

I'm from Germany and 45 years old ... but still in good shape ... for all who think I'm too old for this kind of stuff :-)

I used to play classical guitar and electronic organ while I had a very long break. I have never been a musical talent as any of the great instructors here. However, I love the sound of E-guitars and Kristofer's intro motivated me to try it. Actually, I found this site one year ago and I catched myself checking out this site on every day. I love this site and decided to buy a CORT G260, a used POD XT, and to join this community. I think it's a great place to be and the instructors and the lessons are awesome.

I'll do it step by step and it may be a bit late for a band but not for having some fun practicing and playing guitar. I just finished Kristofers "Power Chord" lesson and started with Gabriel's "Open Chords Rock Rhythm" lesson. Well, it's going slow but I see a good chance to get there. I'll send Kristofer a complaint if not wink.gif

Kind regards
Hans-Juergen

Welcome to GMC!

It's never too late for a band, just imagine how many hobby musicians there are out there in your age, skill and eager to jam with a band. smile.gif
If I was without band I'd reply to an ad.
