ive been looking at this guitar for a while, its a suhr standard and finaly got it in my hands. it plays like a dream, someone traded it in and it was being sold for a very nice £900 (seeing as the standars are usually more expensive) because he fitted a set of killer EMG steve lukather pickups! biggrin.gif

a suhr standard

Is it a standard or a classic? I recently bought a Classic, and the prize tag is quite different... If it's a Classic, you made a VERY good deal ... smile.gif (even if its a standard, the axe is definitely worth the money!!)

Nice guitar!

I have a classic and love it. Can't wait for the Suhr set neck to be released. They've been talking about it for freaking years.

Enjoy the guitar. It' looks fast just sitting there with that red and the Floyd. Looks like a Ferrari!

its slightly slimmer than a normal strat and the angle of the camera makes it seem a bit slimmer

Very cool looking guitar. I am sure it must play great with those pickups.
