Right, I'm in desperate need of monitors smile.gif. Only have my macbook pro now and it's incorporated speakers. I would like to see some options until 500£ but the best would be like 200£.

Feel free to show other suggestions that envolve saving a bit more.

Cheers
Filipe

Hi Emir, and welcome back.

The situation is that I don't know anything about monitors because I don't think I've ever had any. That's why I wanted some concrete suggestions. I saw one of the GMC videos and the Behringer B2031A were one of the suggestions and they are pretty cheap. So, I have no idea laugh.gif

Any monitors in the price range of £200-300 will do more than a great job. I have £120 monitors EDIROL MA-15D and I am doing some great mixes on them. you just need to get used to their sound.

Unless they've moved they're on Charing Cross Road more or less opposite Foyles Bookshop- nearest tube is Tottenham Court Road.

Indeed it is SJ wink.gif .

Boson - if you're looking for recording stuff then take a look at one of big Digital Village shops. IMO and AFAIK they have a good reputation for price and service.

I have a set of KRK Rokit 5's that I absolutely love. They have a front firing bass port and they sound amazing for the money, about $300USD a pair.

I know Emir and others also speak highly of the Edirol MA-15 and they are inexpensive as well.

Just curious, what do you guys think of these monitors? They sound like a nice solution for me. I'm using a laptop to record, and I could really use some speakers on it (monitors or not) as the sound just isnt very loud unplugged.

These have audio interface integrated. Is this what you need? I'm not sure how good is this audio interface, but it seems like an interesting mobile package.
