Hey Kaz, You shall be proud of Yourself and the band! And it was nothing wrong with the solo, You missed a note at some spot, but we all do in live situations. Awesome first gig in my opinion, mine was terrible.....
But I agree to what Marc says, I was wondering what the background-singer was doin until I took a closer look Don't they ship those in pairs ??? //Staffay TIP: A common technique "live" with background-singers is to have them loud in their own monitors and then take them away from the main mix. -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. I think the lack/quality of monitoring for her was indeed part of the problem. Maybe not the biggest part Hmmm, You may be right here, but in a strange way I've always found background-singers distracting for the rest the musicians in the band... And then when someone finally gets together with them, it ruins the rehearsal since there's always missing an instrument except for the backing-vocals..... //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans.
