> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Name of Lesson : Jumping around - intermediate

Comment: I been practicing this at a bit slower tempo and without the backing track
mostly, but decided to pick it up recently - not so easy. Faster or slower, this is
great practice and fun to play. Sorry my tone isn't as clean as most of you - I will
get better equipment for recording some day. Now Behold All! my feeble attempt... wink.gif

Gear:
Guitar: Michael Kelly HEX XT w/ Rockfield Mafia Pickups
Amp: Marshall MG 15CDR Series Amp
Computer: Dell Latitude Laptop
Backing Output: Polk Audio PC Speakers
Video: Canon A590 Power-Shot Camera
Software used: Canon Software and/or Windows Movie Maker
Effects: V-AMP 4 adjustable tones

Well, great effort. You are probably aware of what you should be working on. More precise control. That's all. Your feel and technique is good. 9 this time smile.gif

Very good take! The part is difficult, and there are some problems in there, but I think with more practice you will overcome it. Timing, vibrato and picking techniques are among those things.
