This is the new guitar that I will hopefully be getting in December. Also I'm going to try and get Alexi Laiho's signature humbucker to give her a......extra boost wink.gif

Careful with that wizard II neck, it's kinda rounder than the others. The wizard III appears to be 430mm while the wizard II appears to be 400mm, which means the curve of the fretboard is higher, like a strat.

So. If you can wander to the music store and not hate a small radius neck, you'll be fine. If you prefer a wide radius neck (flatter) then this may not be the best choice.

It says the radius is 15.75" That's flat...no? Fender puts them at 9.5' for most, some 12"s but isn't 15.75' like an airport runway?

the Wizard Prestige neck is 430mm radius. That's 16.9 inches or so? Compare that the Wizard II appears to be 400mm which is 15.75 inches? Shouldn't be quite as round as a strat then, but it feels like a mountain if you're used to the flatter necks.

I'm just saying this: pickups can be replaced a lot more easily than a neck. Get the neck you are comfy with, then the bridge, then the look. The rest can be replaced.

Yes I'm very used to necks like the Wizard II. I like my necks just a little bit thicker, for some reason it helps my playing, plus my Dad's Ibanez I am pretty sure has a Wizard II neck as well.

I would go for used guitars. You can get a Way better Ibanez for 500 bucks used (golden Era or even a prestige)
