Hi Pedja

I was ill for a few days, so i couldn't play.

I have picked up the guitar since yesterday and played the progression in all 4 positions, not at full speed but that will come.

I will make a video before the 31th

I have worked out the theory on this already to fully understand.

What I have discovered analysing your lesson is that in the progression in the key of C the I, IV and V are containing there relative minors by adding a 6 th on the II, III and VI degree:
I-->VI (C-->AM)
IV-->III (F--DM)
V--> II (G-->Em)

I wasn't aware of that until now. I supposed that goes for every key you play.

Cheers
Robert

Hi Robert,

I hope that your health situation is much better and that you have recovered fully now. I am glad you discovered parent chords within major scales - this also works for relative pentatonics ( C major = A min , D min = F maj, E min = G maj ).

Look forward to video for REC tomorrow !

Hi Robert

I just watched the video and there are couple of things I would like to say.

1) This is definitely passing material. I would give this 7 or 8 perhaps even 9 if I am in the holiday mood which I am smile.gif
2) You should just play chords longer, full duration, rather than staccato which you did. Last string set 321 was the closest to what you should have done.
3) Sound could have had more bass, there was a lot of treble in this one.

Overall this is passing and you can go ahead and submit for REC. I hope these points are made are useful for future takes!

Hello Pedja

Thx for your feedback

1) thx I hope you will stay in a holiday mood for long time biggrin.gif
2) I agree, that would have sound better
3) I first had a take with the "bass"sound but I changed to the other pick up which I normaly used in other lesson. For this I think you are right more bass could be better.
