This was pretty good Marek. Well done. I can clearly hear triplets and that's very good. Try to synchronise video and audio better next time in your program. The audio is late for almost a second.

The next one is 3 notes per string (my second video) in 130bpm and this same one in 155bpm. Try to make it by Thursday so we can use next Sunday for the 3rd assignment and catch up with what we've missed this month.

Cheers

Okay here are the two videos I promised:) Unfortunately, they don't show to much good, but at least You will see how my "progress" is going.

First the 2nps pattern in 155bpm, sometimes better, sometimes worse, better muting while seating on chair without few pillows;)

And now the 130bpm 3nps pattern, I have big problems with the patterns without the bar/more "complicated" patterns. Sometimes I will make it, but no point in showing the best video out of 50 just to show off;) I mean, I just am not up to speed, to position my fingers in time.

I had my birthday yesterday, so there was even less time to practice than normally, I hope to practice little more now that I have just to study, write my end-study-work but don't have to go to the university for next two weeks;)

Happy birthday smile.gif

This wasn't bad at all. You are on a very good way man. 2 notes per string sound pretty good. Still room for improvement but you'll get there. 3 notes are a bit unstable but also on a good way. You had some timing problems on the start with separating the triplets but you got them later.

Let's finish this month with the 3 string arpeggio in faster tempo and we can move on in January.

Also don't forget the REC take of any GMC lesson by the end of the month, that's another GMC requirement. When you upload on the REC thread please leave the link here as well.

Cheers

I forgot that I should upload something today, so I recorded something..

I still have same problems --> bad muting, partly because of the uncomfortable recording position that I can't do anything which, and the shape changes, it just takes time for the pinky to be in position, and in this exercise it has to be on its spot the same time as the rest of the fingers, or faster..

Thanks for this take. It's not bad but not very clean smile.gif I think you have too much distortion. Play with some different (hard rock drive) type of distortion rather than metal one. Also make sure you switch your pickup to neck position. With this sound you're losing some notes even if you pick them. And the video is not perfectly synchronised. Don't worry much now, we'll get there for sure. I have some more stuff on the way.

Please leave the link for the REC submission here as well so I can lock the thread and open a new one for January.

Cheers
