are there pains that might be considered good - like the pain you feel after a good work out- i was wondering if i'am trying to teach my muscles into memory, will the new muslce usage have a little pain like a work out , and if so could any one discribe where and how they have pain or should i be carefull of all pain .

Be careful of pain that doesn't go away fast when you stop playing, you might be overworking your muscles. It's normal to feel "tired" after playing a while or executing stretches etc. but I guess we all feel when things are not "normal", that's the moment to take a break.

What kind of pain do you experience? Pain in those situations is always a sign to stop and rest, because muscles are tired. Dull pain and numbness usually are the sign of tired fingers. Strong sharp pains are not something that is good, so stay away from those. In both cases, take a break, and massage the hands until the pain stops.

I don't think that you should feel any kind of pain in your fingers, except on the fingertips... Maybe you don't relax your fingers enough? Try warming and stretching up before playing.
