yeah it helps! thanks man! yeah, i was trying to finish some level 5 lessons, but they are far away from my skills so i have to finish practice them! i was thinking about practicing more than one lesson the same time, nice to hear that it could be a good way to stay motivated! ( i was scared about something like: when you practice 5 lessons the same time, you dont practice one of them right!) ok, i have 1 hour tonight to play guitar, i think im searching a level 3 lesson and rock like hell now! Hey man, You dont know what You're talkin bout.... come on when You have played "Der Eiermann" or "I just called to say I love You" some 500-600 times..... //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Hey friend, i have a problem and i want to know if somebody here has the same minds! Im always hearing the new lessons! most of them sounds really great in my ears! then i choose some of then to practice. and there is the problem! when i finished the lessson i cant hear that tune for a half year or something like that, because i have to hear it so often to learn it! thats the reason why i dont want to hear really great music for the next 10 years! (cryin, dont cry, sweet child, and many more). is there anyone with the same problem or am i a freak? You are not alone man .. I have exactly the same problem. This is especially true in terms of covers that have been drilled to an extent that if you hear that bend one more time, you'll probably pull your hair apart or punch a hole in the wall. This obviously goes away if you are performing these to an audience (thats what i experienced), coz then every experience is different and fun .. I am assuming you are not performing.. As for the lessons, it's not all a bad thing, coz you are moving on, taking the techniques you learned in it , over to the next lessson ... So no worries, if you dont remember the melody or the composition of the previous lesson but essential to take those techniques learned and apply them in future lessons.. -------------------- "If the need is deep, you WILL find a way , if it isn't, you'll find some excuse"

Imagine bands like Iron Maiden that have been playing same songs for 20 years and still playing them. The more extreme example is Yngwie Malmsteen. Not only the same songs but the same 3 scales he knows I bet they hate themselves for that but that still makes them popular

Maybe we shall post a new scale to Yngwie? Everytime I watch that guy live I just can't believe that he never wanted to learn something new. Listen to albums 20 years ago and now, it's exactly the same. And am I? Not, not by far.. No, Superlocrian is the last (7th) mode of Melodic Minor. Jazz guys use it non-stop. Btw the whole melodic minor scale is the one that Yngwie never touched -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

I never get bored playing same songs over and over again. Also if I don't play or listen to a song it goes out of my head pretty easily. But what I do hate is when I hear a ultra catchy song and when it sticks in my head for weeks - example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4om1rQKPijI

Superlocrian mode would sound like a punishment for him Superlocrian to Yngwie? Nah, that will sound as John Scofield at speed and will hurt my ears seriously... Better give him some arabic stuff and send him down there, since it is a market that still is open for him. (and at the same time there will be no releases here.... ) //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. Hehe, I know what you mean. I wouldn't say I hate the songs I play, because I love them all, nut it's true that sometimes you can get tired of playing them over and over. Sadly it's the only way to get to play them perfect.
What I find is that the more songs I've learnt, the better because I can play many more different tracks on a practice session, and I don't get bored. The problem is that the more songs I can play, the more time I need to practice them all, because I'd hate to forget them -------------------- Guitars:
