Just a piece ive been working on, guess you could say some prog metal influences like opeth, between the buried and me etc and some jazz fusion

maybe a little more work on the leads in some places, other than that i like the way it sounds

and one more thing, the first riff i've put in as 6/8 but should it be in 4/4 or 12/8? I put it in 6/8 as it was in 4/4 originally but everything was in triplets so 6/8 makes it compound time and all 16th notes (i thought this was the only reason to put things in 4/4) but someone told me this riff is definatley 4/4 or 12/8 so I dont really know.

would appreciate some feedback - if you enjoyed anything, and some improvements! thanks guys

Well, it is really hard to say anything here, since the sounds in GP sounds ape to me.... but there are some interesting rhytms going on, and it might sound good if played properly.... It really is like reading a lead sheet for a symphony orchestra without hearing it if You know what I mean. But obviously You put some hard effort into this, and I would love to hear a "real" demo of this song! smile.gif

Yeah I know what you mean, GP does sound a bit silly! I dont really have any tools for recording, and i'm going travelling for a few months, but when I get back i'm gonna get some sort of audio interface like a pod or a decent sound card and an amp modeler so I can record it good when I come back! cheers

What about that time signature query I asked in the first post Staffay? I know you know your theory!
