> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original Lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Early-Megadeth-Style/

Gear: Ibanez S470, PodX3 Live, Reaper, Vegas

Notes: I picked a lesson below my skill level to really try to focus on getting it to sound like I knew how to play. laugh.gif I had a lot of takes that were passable, but I wanted to keep trying until it sounded great.

that part around 50 seconds somehow sounds a bit sloppy to me, but aside from that I would say mission accomplished wink.gif

Very good take! I think , bends and vibratos are quite good, but the timing wasn't so accurate everywhere. It's interesting for me, because I hear a lot of much more difficult solo from you, which was played perfectly. But overall it sounds very good! smile.gif

well man, very nice take. I give you a 7, 'cause I saw more level from you in other vids. you showed before you can play some advanced stuff and play them well. now, in this one, I saw several bends out of tune, and that part close to 01.00, needs more sync between L and R hands. besides this, it was a good take, don't take me in the wrong direction. smile.gif keep it metal!
