I'm an intermediate player and have been looking for something like this to continue learning after completing the Doug Marks Metal Method DVD course. I tried a few other sites but this one is far better and the instructors are phenominal players! I love how every lesson is broken up into little bites and every lesson includes a backing track and tabs. I'm a big George Lynch, Joe Satriani, Tony Macalpine, Iron Maiden, Dream Theater fan and there seems to be a ton of material related to those players and styles. I've already started with the George Lynch Style lesson by Daniel Robinson. I hope to see more George Lynch style lessons on the site. Daniel Robinson completely nailed his tone in that lesson. That's one of the best style lessons I've seen where the instructor really captured the core of the artist. Please Mr. Robinson...do a few more Lynch lessons will ya! I remember reading in an interview Mark Tremonti said he first started playing that went to a private lesson and the teacher wanted to teach him twinkle twinkle little star and he said screw this....I want to learn Metallica. So he never went back. Well that is what this site is all about! Teaching us to really play the stuff we like. You can learn all the theory you want but at some point you just gotta start playing.
