Due to my two children I have to watch the silly competition "Eurovision Song Contest" year after year, and everytime it leaves me totally brainwashed with nothing bout maj7-chords ringing in my head. But this saturday, I was kinda chocked since these girls were performing a very good ballad. (I cant find it anywere though) It made me check this group out anyway, and the vids can be seen below. They really makes me believe in girl power in music again!!!

Nothing new, another bunch of angry girls, still I agree it is rare to see better things on the TV in those times.

They really rock! It sounds very powerful! I just checked them live and they can reproduce their studio music perfectly.
Thanks for sharing!

It was really because of that I posted this one, at first it looked as they were just another hype of the record industry. (Eurovision Song Contest is of course singback, which makes it even more boring) But when I checked it out I realized that they have been around for some 4-5 years, and they really CAN play, which most "girls" bands can't. (if I may be excused here) And that is positive, we need some more girls in real rock, personally I would hired them all in my band!!!! biggrin.gif

The very first live concert I attended was Iron Maiden. Opening for them was Scorpions and a band called Girlschool. They really rocked. This was a "few," years ago.

A few months back I created a Rock sampler for my girlfriend named "Rockchicks", so obviously, there were only groups with female vocals allowed.
Next to Arch Enemy and The Distillers the highlights were (in my humble opinion):
Die Happy, a german band with a czech singer. Great live band, I have seen them a couple of times now. Not heir best song, but the only good video I could find on youtube...

I also like Kim Shattuck's voice (she's from the muffs), though this video doesn't have the best quality.

And let's not forget about this band/singer:
