Before I even go try one I'd like to check with the expertiese here since I havn't played Schecters really... Well, downside is I have for a short few minutes and hated the neck, but I think those were some other models where the neck on all of them was the same.

What I'm looking for is a good rock guitar, wondering about the Duncan Designed HB102 pu's. An alternative to a Les Paul. I want to be able to keep the volume on 10 without the pu's going all out metal on me. Rock is my preference, not metal, if I ever want more I'll solve that.

Found a store with an exceptional good price on this model in particular, as if they just want to rid of it. But it's not on my side of town... GMC is wink.gif

Watched a few youtube clips so far and the coil split is a nice feature.

That intro riff reminds me of Keane's Everybody \'s Changing... ohmy.gif

He's using the Tempest Classic it seems.

I don't know much about the Tempest, tried one quickly in a store and iirc I think the neck was different from C1-s.
Go try it, don't be lazy smile.gif

these guys are definitely influenced by Iron Maiden....the couple of songs I've heard from them have very similar riffs!
