I bought myself a Logitech Cam but it arrived with a damaged Lens so I've sent it back. As I need a Cam to record some REC takes for the MTP a friend has lent me an PS 2 EyeToy for a while.
I've installed the drivers etc but I'm not sure how to set it up and record video, let alone editing once I'm done.
I've never used one/done this before so any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance guys!!

Also, do I have to use the included software or is there a Freeware Vid Recording program?

You can use Movie Maker it comes with Windows and it's free. There are other freeware video editing softwares too, try google, they will pop out. Basic one with capture option is all you need. let me know if you have any difficulties, i will be glad to help.
