My nephew got the Douglas Shadow BK Les Paul copy. Price is 119$ but it plays better than most Epiphones i've tried. Alot of guitar for the money, so i can vouche for the rondo quality.

Only thing that royally sucked was the pegs, but the rest of the hardware was more than ok. including the pickups.

The only thing I wonder about these guitars is the quality of the licenced floyd rose tremelo. How fast will it wear? How long before it will no longer stay in tune?

Wow, never heard of them but now I want one. Been aching for a 7 string for a while now, and that price is quite attractive. But yea, be interested to hear from an actual owner of one :/

I know loads of guys who have agiles mate, they are very highly thought of guitars, sure they are made to a budget but they are a proper guitar maker that offers custom shop guitars as well as the cheaper end, ive played an interceptor eight string and it was very good for the price, of course the hardware isnt going to be the best but for the money they are hard to fault.

Skenny had one of the lower end LP Style ones and speaks very highly of it and one of our Instructors, Toni, bought one of the 7 Strings and rated it very highly too. I've never heard anyone speak a bad word about them at all. They seem to be amazing value for money!

They're certainly looking attractive, ohhhh I want it! I suppose I can always replace the hardware, so long as it's good enough quality to get started with my first 7 string then it'd be a good start, and the price is amazing.

But yea I'm just checking out reviews now, it's looking promising!

i can tell you a little about the company:

ONLY SX and AGILE are made by kurt (rondo music)

Douglas are rebranded from the company shine from korea.

Kurt WILL do some customization for you if you email him and ask him to.

the agile series is amazing, the 7 strings are great! and the 8 strings are ALWAYS selling out fast! i played an agile for a while, and i regret selling it!

Looks great, I guess they made them price-competitive since it is not a famous brand. Try it- if you like it - buy it! smile.gif

Hmm, so far there doesn't seem to be a UK distributor, which is a pain. I've e-mailed kurt for more info but it seems likely it'd be an import job, which makes it far more expensive :/

Yea, kurt e-mailed back saying they don't have any distributers, they only ship direct.

I'll hunt around on google as you say and see what I can find;

These guitars/brand seems very good based on reviews and opinions from GMC owners. Too bad they don't have a better distribution network, they would make a big competition to other guitars in the price range.
