> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson is: Fusion Collaboration Solo

Notes: Played through VOX tonelab, played one note up since my Suhr is detuned to Eb-tuning.

Great stuff! Your style and phrasing has a very "Santana" type feel. Very well done.

Very well done Staffy!. What I'd like to say is that I like that the vibrato move comes more natural. And I noted you're applying some force on your wrist. Try to let the wrist do its own job and let it flow. Apart from that, is a great take. The sound is brilliant!

Very good take. LIke Santiago said, I think the problem is with picking hand the most, it has certain amount of stiffness that prevents fluid sound.
