Hey guys, so today i had a great video chat session, and Darknodar123 asked me about my dad, and how he influenced on my playing (because he saw on my instructor profile that i mention him as one of my greatest influences)...

And it was really a great experience talking about him for a while, but the best thing is that i remember now when i was 16 or something (like Darknodar123) that i have my father home always showing me new tricks on the guitars, or showing me new bands for me, you know jimi hendrix one day, the red hot chili peppers the other day, so i realized now that not everybody got a father like mine, so i just see how important are the video chat sessions, probably is the best way to learn, now im decided to host a lot of those too smile.gif

Getting back to the point, i present you my dad, Luciano Figallo:
(the crazy guy with the jem)

This is a live video Opening for Ian Gillan

Ad this is from a recent gig over cool rock pub here in lima!

hope you all like it!

I watched the first one, will get back to the next. When was the first video made? Catchy tune, neat band. Love the 80's. They did have a very nice sound, good beat, nice presentation.

edit: "Como ladron en la noche por los perros" looks to me like it means "how to steal in the night for the dogs". I am pretty sure nobody would write a song with that title. I need to keep working on my Spanish.

Almost there , the song is called "Like a thief at night" and the band is called "The dogs"

The way you talk about him it seems he is not only a cool guy and great guitar player BUT (most importantly) a GOOD DAD as well!
I´m happy for you as you have obviously cracked the "Dad-Jackpot" biggrin.gif

My son will be 4 in June - I can only aspire that he sometimes writes similar stuff about me in a forum - I´ll do my best!!

Cheers mate!

Very nice Adrian, thanks for sharing. It's nice to see you are proud of him.
I've tried to give broad musical influences to my kids by showing them different artists and taking them to live perfomances from real young age. Both of them love music and appriciate music in different genres. I believe that's important to pass on.

Respect your parents biggrin.gif
