Hey GMC,

Jeremy here from not so sunny florida
this is my second time writing this thanks to the power.
in short ive been playing seriously since i signed up for this site in november,
after being digusted by the traditional guitar lessons where you are charged
senseless for a 30 minute lesson that consists of the instructor showing off and some power chords.

ive been here for a little while, so i have had a chance to get a feel for the
difficulty of the lessons, im most comfortable with levels 4-6,
but i have come to realize that if im practicing a lesson
by Muris it is best to keep it around 3.

Considering my on off cycle ive probably been playing for about a year now,
although the last 6 months have been fairly serious, sometimes logging over 5 hours a day.

right now im using a Schecter tempest hellraiser into a boss GT-10 effects processor and into a marshall MG 30 DFX.
overall im pleased with my setup but an amp upgrade is probably the next thing.

I love all kinds of music really, classical, rock, everything metal,
the only thing i cant make myself listen to is pop or country.
Bands i like include OPETH!!! Testament, Kalmah, Amon Amarth, Lamb of God,
Children of Bodom, Paradise Lost, Scar Symmetry
(it like math metal/perfect for geeks like me), Chopin (composer),
early metallica, megadeth, the lost goes on.

thats is me in a nutshell really, im a freshman in highschool so i go to school,
come home practice and repeat. i guess the dream would be to get good
enough at guitar or piano to be accepted into berklee and study music theory and composition there.

I look forward to having a great time practicing with all of you!

cya later, Jeremy
