I'm posting this since I believe that some good ideas came out from the first month of studying with Pedja in the MTP-program. (even that I made some serious mistakes already in the beginning......) Pedja will for sure know what I'm talking bout here, fyi. there is some Michael Brecker stuff as well as some other ideas taken from the original lesson. The solo is purely improvised and is not "written" in any way.

As usual all comments are welcome, just shoot!!! smile.gif

Well.... to be honest I was in this type of music totally 25 years ago at the University, but haven't played it since then. But now it was kinda fun, even that I prefer to play more modern jazz stuff. (and blues of course)

Nice! I really like the emotive, expressive way you approach the lead playing.

Really awesome Staffay. You're an inspiration. I missed some nice bends in those tasty fusion licks though, it seemed you were doing a two part thing between a fusion kind of sound and bluesy kind of sound. Maybe you intended that. More so in the last half though, but then again 5+ minutes is a long time to keep the whole thing fresh smile.gif I thought you kind of had a Jeff Beck thing going though, blow by blow style.
