I'm pretty sure there are lots of emotions going in the lesson videos but you just can't see it because of close up angle! smile.gif Also I do think people are more concentrated when recording and demonstrating something and I think that facial expressions do require a certain amount of attention and special feeling of letting it out which happens on stage when playing songs but when recording and demonstrating something that has to be played in certain way (certain notes/fingering/techniques, precision etc) it can be diminished. And after all, some players just don't make "Faces" - that doesn't mean they don't enjoy music. I actually like those players that are "still" like Paco De Lucia etc smile.gif
