Has anyone seen Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny?

Since I've been laid up I've been catching up on my movie watching and saw this the other day. I laughed my butt off. Love Jack Black. He's funny and not a bad guitar player either. Liked Tenacious D before (The greatest song in the world Tribute is killer) but this movie was great. When they did the rock simulator I nearly fell out of my seat. And the classico song on the boardwalk...when back to playing going to learn that one.

Yeah, awesome movie! Funny as hell! That whole thing must be an inside joke to guitar players though, because I was watching it with some non-musician friends of mine and I was the only one laughing.

The gig simulator was great! And the crazy guy at Guitar Center!

I found the same thing. I watched it with a couple of friends who don't play and some stuff went right over their heads. I actually had on friend ask who Zeppelin was....I threw them out. LOL

And the crazy Guitar Center guy was Ben Stiller which made it more funny.

this movie has one of the coolest opening scenes I have ever seen.....Jack Black, Meatloaf and Ronnie James Dio setting the basis for the story rock opera style.....amazing.
