> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Howdy GMC. Here's my first REC take since joining the community last fall.
Original link: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...p-style-lesson/

Gear:
Fender '08 American Strat
POD Studio GX
POD Farm with my "Orange Love" preset:
Citrus D-30
Classic Distortion
Brite Room
Noise Gate

Being from Texas, I'm a big ZZ Top fan so I chose a lesson that hits close to home smile.gif I hope it does GMC some justice!

Hi Earman!

Great take! There are some minor issues tho, you should work on your vibrato to even and loosen it up a bit, and a bit more
work on your bending.

Cheers!

great take. I think you need to work a bit more on vibrato and just focusing on not putting too much strain on your hands while playing. So a relaxed hands would make it more fluid.
