Bought this cheap thing for even cheaper (60 euros). Lets say you don't see right away that it's a really low budget instrument. Only if you come closer you see that it's a cheap instrument. The pickups are fixed with screws directly into the wood and some sponges behind the pickups adjust the height. Hmmm. Anyway, the neck is great. Playability is good after I set the action and: this thing sounds great. Very resonant and with a great bass foundation when the P- style pickup (split pickup in the neck position) is used. After adjusting the height of the J-style pickup in the bridge the two pups sound great when both are used together. Not as much snarl as an original P-sytle bass puts out but this cheap crap sounds really good.

The thing is definetly worth every penny. Many years ago, when I was still playing the bass, I had an original P-style bass and I think this cheap copy plays great compared to the original .

Here is a song with the new bass. Check it out

I played this one too. This is actually the reason why I bought the other one. The J bass is good too. Same cheap make but solid and sounds great. I just thought the P-bass is a little bit more versatile. And then I got it for 60 euros. So had to buy it.
f you want a cheap instrument and you know something about setting it up go ahead and get the J-bass. Great value for that price.

Wow this is great find man! There are definitely some cheap basses around that can work pretty good. I remember fiddling around Aria jazz bass for some time and it sounded/felt great! smile.gif I don't know about this make since they don't sell them here, but you seem to have found a bass that works amazing for the price. Only down side to this I can think of when getting a new one is bad quality control, so some new basses would be cool for setup where some can just be bad...nothing you can't deal with if one just tries the bass before buy.

those look very close to the originals, i once had a cheap bass like that, but i upgraded it with some emg pickups, the difference was incredible (i love active for bass), maybe you can find a used set on ebay (and maybe it will be more expensive than the actual bass biggrin.gif )

Very cool song, and the bass sound is very nice. I like how it holds the low end nice and tight.
