Great review, thanks for the heads up! What's the price-range on these? I looked it up and the model is discontinued as far as I could tell from my 20 second search.
I love Ibanez guitars. They feel great - closest feel I could get compared to my Charvel II. I had to get an alternate guitar while I ditch the trem system on my charvel for a fixed bridge (I gave up using trems - I just don't care to use them), and found an RG at GC for like 200 bucks. I thought I was going to hate it, but after changing the strings on it, turned out to be a great guitar - I love that cheap little clunker! It's not discontinued, this model has been around for quite some time, but Ibanez likes to make cosmetic changes in the color. Mine is a 2009 model, with maple neck (thus it's a RG2570 MZ), you also have the RG2570z which is the same with a rose wood finger board. 2010 models colors are not solid, they look nice too. http://www.ibanez.co.jp/world/country/frame_uk.html Just checked and they don't appear listed on USA site. Just saw this guitar after looking for the one above on the Ibanez site and I must say it's the most Metal looking guitar I think I've ever seen. I want one!
