Hi,

A couple of days ago I stumbled upon this Kramer Vanguard, used, and from the first time I saw it I couldn't stop thinking about it! And the funny thing is that I'm more of a Les Paul kinda guy but for some reason this beast wouldn't let go of me. So I bought it...

What do you think? Pretty metal, right?

Pretty metal for sure! cool.gif

I notice the neck pickup is actually more towards the middle position on this one!

When I saw that you are from Malmö (and Kramer guitar as topic), I thought immediately that YOU were the one that bought that used kramer guitar in the music shop downtown smile.gif I saw it on the web and went there to check it but someone was quicker. Never got the chance to know which made it was, kinda like to find a decent kramer (80's wet dream without a reason hehe). Anyways congrats!

I beat you to it! smile.gif

Actually I only saw this "online" and haven't been able to try it out yet. Pretty stupid perhaps to buy something you haven't tried but this one looked so cool that it doesn't matter if it sounds bad or is tricky playing smile.gif

Regarding the quad-rail pickups. Anyone tried anything like that? Sounds to me that it can get pretty "humming" and noisy with that setup.

And yes, the positioning of the pups is also kinda weird....

It is, isn't it? I'm still struggling with if the guitar looks extremely asymmetrical or simply... cool smile.gif

Hopefully it will arrive in a couple of days and I will let you guys know how it sounds and also what condition it's in.
