Hi guys,

recently I have the feeling that the activity in the forum is slowing down a bit. Nothing serious though, but I wonder why..
Is it because of the world cup? (Great advice: practice scales during the matches...we discussed that in the chat with Todd yesterday)
Is it because summer is finally coming (somewhat...) and everybody is spending time outside?
Is it because the "view new posts" link doesn't work anymore and people are afraid to start new threads or make new posts?
Is it just my imagination?

Okay, I'm off watching the world cup...I mean, practicing scales again. tongue.gif

Once the summer really starts in Germany I'll be out enjoying the sun as well...but today I even have to wear a sweatshirt!

It changes from time to time; I think it depends on how many active members are arround. We had times where the forum hat at least 50 daily contributors and a lot of threads per day and we had times even worse than now...

I haven't noticed it. I guess world cup is "distracting" and nice weather outside. But overall I haven't noticed the change in activity. Also it depends on the day of the week and time of day... smile.gif

Yes it's slow, mainly due to the 'view new posts' not working anymore and maybe summer break.

It's summer.
Still, growing number of 3G phones will solve that question, if not this, then next season! smile.gif

Good answers all around. Sometimes this place seems dead, but then you come back a day or two later and you can't even find the topic you're looking for because it's buried 'neath all the new ones smile.gif

At least for me that's also a matter of personal perception tongue.gif

I stay a couple of days out of the forum and I think it has slow down.
Than I participate a lot and I think it is going fine blink.gif

I have this habit of clicking "new posts" every hour or so, and I keep getting new stuff, so I guess things are fine as usual smile.gif
Good weather is always "bad" for the boards anyway, and world soccer helps too though tongue.gif

Maybe it's me but when summer approaches I always think I'm going to play guitar more, but in the end I play it the same even when I'm on vacation, I wonder what I do with the rest of my time... too much sleep! And TV series watching & gaming at night! laugh.gif

I'm sure the "view new posts" not working has some influence
