Old Strings Staying Tuned |

I think it is a factor,
It might have to do with the guitar's octavation, you should check that too -------------------- Visit my:

if there are problems with intonation, then the guitar needs to be inspected. however, i think new fresh set of strings will refresh the sound nicely. on top of it, i suggest that you take a guitar and get it setuped, if it wasn't done before.

I would recommend changing those strings. You could take the opportunity to take the guitar to the shop and get a professional setup too if you haven't done it before.
