Hi

I have an Ovation which I'm really pleased with. However I notice that quite often when I do a chord where I slide my fingers to the next position on the frets I get an awful squeaking sound. It's like a knife being drawn across a plate.

I don;t get this with any other guitar.

Is it my technique, the Ovation or the strings?

Any advice welcomed.

Ta

Mike

Try to slide ur fingers across the guitar lighter and if that dosen't work then maybe it is ur guitar.
You can try sliding with more pressure if you want.
