cool! here it is.

Assignment 2
AP and Legato

well, since you mentioned that you are having some problems on AP and Legato, I thought this little but very effective exercise could helps.
into the GP file, you'll find an exercise over 1st and 2nd string. notes are triplet at 180 bpm (3 notes per beat)
so, you have to play the fisrt 4 notes with AP, and the rest with legato:

1º----------------------------------5-(U)---7(L)---8-(L)---
2º------5-(D)---7-(U)---8-(D)-----------------------------

D=downstroke
U=Upstroke
L=Legato

also you have to add, drums, bass and a rhythmic guitar.
if you need any help, just ask wink.gif

have fun!

sorry for came late on this man, I was out last week, and only checked the site through my phone, I can do much through it.

about the takes:
the first one was not that good as I expected. since you told me that you were working on those fast parts, I was expecting some problems there. but, what I see in this take is the contrary. you play very well the fast parts! but there are some problems on bends at the beginning and also weak vibrato on long notes, and in some cases, notes out of tune.
I know, I'm being so exigent with you in this aspect, don't get me wrong, the take is very good.
but I think you pay too much attention on the fast parts and forget about the overall feeling for this lesson. do you understand what I mean?
the second one and its extended were AWESOME!!!
you got the technique perfectly, and it sounded clear and tight. well done!

if you want to rec another take on the fisrt ass, it's very welcome. not required tho.
I will come back with the next assignment later night.

Lian!

cool man! smile.gif
here is your next assignment.

Assignment 3
http://www.guitarmasterclassnet/ls/B-Minor-Ballad-Solo/

in this lesson we have some cool bends and some legato parts to work on. as in the previous assignment, pay attention on dynamics. pay attention in every note, in every second of your playing.
this may sounds boring at first, but you already have a good level of playing, so, details make you even better.

have fun!
