Worked through a few tutorials and came up with this. I'm pretty happy for a first effort.

Aaaah, After Effects are awesome. I done a lot of editing long time ago, this program is just so advanced, that it takes years to really master it. But You did great on this one! Looks very cool! smile.gif

Well done! Welcome to the wonderful world of After Effects smile.gif I'm guessing you are using CS4? The new CS5 version is out and has some very spiffy enhancements but even CS3 is a great product. Really, any version you can get your hands on is a great place to start.

Make sure to tweak your memory/processing settings inside the preferences. You typically want a LARGE image cache for timeline preview, then a small image cache for final render so the render engine can have more ram. It's a bit of a RAM HOG.

Many congrats though on your first piece!

Todd

I was expecting something awesome to follow it.

Great work smile.gif

Oh, that software is awesome. Real magic, you can make light sabers, superhero effects(throwing lightballs) and all sort of stuff.
