I'm no expert, I think it was fine job. I'll let the expert dudes critique. I don't know if I could play very well on stage - soloing for sure. That would be scary.

Great man, it looked relaxed to me! There was some minor mistakes (nothin serious), but as we know the audience is far more stupid that we think they are...
One thing that appears to me though is that You maybe looked down/at the guitar a little bit too much. An audience just loves when You are facing them and looks at THEM. I use to find the prettiest girl in the audience and look at her - which in my case puts a silly smile on my face, unless Im not gigging on a retirement home ofc. Otherwise I think You did very well !!!! //Staffay EDIT: Btw. I just love the song too..... Well, don't overdo as steve vai (I kinda hate his and looks too porny (fake) ) Then You made us two (at least), I just hate when guitar-players looks like monkeys jumping round and shreds without no sense at all. (although Vai has made some really good playing as well) //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. I think it was pretty good. You played nicely, and I sense you had a bit of stage freight. On the stage you really need to let yourself go and be yourself. This may be difficult at times, but after a while you discover you can be yourself more than anywhere else than on stage.

I use to find the prettiest girl in the audience and look at her - which in my case puts a silly smile on my face, unless Im not gigging on a retirement home ofc. but don't you think, at the retirement home it's a good feeling to know that all women in the audience wants you. -------------------- My bands homepage

but don't you think, at the retirement home it's a good feeling to know that all women in the audience wants you. Hmmm, I haven't thought in that faschion before - I may go for some sort of combined musicianship/gigolo -gigs. A musolo ??? //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. i like it a LOT ruben, i think your stage presence is just fine for the place you are playing, for me it is VERY hard to play in front people i know , but when i'm playing a gig i'm loco onstage, i'm really being myself 100% but i think i might be a little crazy.
very good playing! -------------------- Check my Instructor Profile Rockers! Got a Blog too!, www.adriantracks.com Follow me on facebook and youtube! -Youtube |

Well just for you Guys to see my evolution from past year to now Check out my previous audition ( I think It was a really bad xD )
Here it is: Audi_ao_2009.mp4 ( 22.97MB ) Number of downloads: 97 the quality is really bad ( it was recorded w/ mobile phone ) but still you can see there was a lot more stage fright backthen (and I wasn't even playn alone ) so to me this year there was huge improvement but let me know what you think.. Great work, hey you might of been nerious but you didn't show it by standing static.
Looked good moving around a bit and showing some real good smooth feeling and emotion into it. -------------------- Play Games Arcade Take a break, Play Games! Play the best free online flash games at Aaron's Game Zone like Bloons Tower Defense 4! |
