Thanks man! Yeah, we definitely had more fun that should be allowed. In fact, I think I might have had a little too much fun biggrin.gif ....good thing we had a DD.

Seen them both but separately. Dream Theater is mind blowing, and Iron Maiden was the greatest single moment of my meager existence. smile.gif

Guys, you make me jealous! I wish I could see these two bands together...but this year I have just seen Kamelot and will see Bad Religion and Blind Guardian. Come to think of it, not a bad year... cool.gif

Only one month untill Il see Maiden! \m/
Unfortunate without Dream Theater. But I'll see instead Parkway Drive, Seasick Steve, Blink 182, Gojira, Queens of The Stone Age, The Prodigy,... Not bad either.

I was at the same show! Once the rain let up it was amazing, sound and lights and of course musicianship was all top notch. Did you hear that one scream Bruce did? Not sure when honestly, towards the middle of the set but it was glorious.

[edit] You live in wilmington? biggrin.gif We could have carpooled, haha.

I've just found some old friends on fb, and they reminded me of my first Iron Maiden and Dream Theater concert.

We were opening for Iron Maiden when I first saw them with Dickinson, because the previous gig I went to was with Blaze. That was a huge gig, I pretty enjoyed it very much.

The first time I saw DT was when they were here in Budapest for the first time. At that time Sherinian was the keyboard player. I was in the first row, just infront of Petrucci. He played the whole gig with a single Jim Dunlop Jazz III pick, which I own smile.gif
