This is a weird idea I had, take a hip hop song and play a solo over it. This is me playing over Riding Solo by Jason Derulo. Tell me what you think!

Very interesting, you should set up your tone better, this sounds doesn't fit, maybe less distortion...

Yeah I'm still figuring out the whole POD thing and how to set up tone, I'll definitely do a better job next time.

If you want the chords for that (might help you stay within key) the hip-hop track is really just samples from the verve's "bittersweet symphony" that was all over the radio back in the mid-to-late 90's

If it's not the verve, it's verve pipe. One or the other.

Sounds interesting. I think a bit better tone and less notes would work even better, but this is quite good! smile.gif
