ohhh yeah! that is rock n roll!!!

first thanks man for chose this lesson!!

now the hard part, the critique (LOL!)

the ejecution got a few mistakes.. you must pay more attention to play every note with definition and clean, without noise... even in this style that is a little dirt...

there are 2 details, in 0:24, when the base go to D, and the solo go to double stops in fret 11... you got to go with a slide

and the second is the final chord that you record, the D chord... you got to play this chord one 8th note before (sorry my english is poor, i hope you understand me, if you not, tell me again biggrin.gif)

but you take the style very good!! Only you lack the beer, the beard and the moustache!! (LOL) you got the essence of this style, and that is one of the most difficult things.... the other thing is hours of practice, and that is easy and possible

and the most important detail... if you play a ZZ top´s lesson you need a rocker dress! (LOL)

I like hear you play the complete lesson in the future! when you got the take please tell me again!

let´s ROCK!!!

upssssssssssssss

I forget a very important tip!!

I play "Hybrid Pcking" in this lesson, that make the sound more "ZZ TOP".... check that!

great take man, and thanks lucio for the great comments man, i'm a big fan of your playing.
not sure if i can add more than lucio said, i would just tune up the guitar a little bit more.

also lucio is right, he actually used hybrid picking (pick + fingers), it will make the sounds muddier and more ala zz top, but pick only sounds cool too!

ready for a new assignment?
