Wow, Kris... another collab ! Even crazier than the last one, haha... you sure do keep us on our toes and like to push us out of our comfort zones musically, which is a good thing ;-)

I look forward to seeing whatever I can come up with... and stoked that everybody can participate.. There will be some amazing ideas from everyone I'm sure !! :-)

Good to hear you will give at shot Ben - I know you will raise the quality of the whole collab!

I was a little hesitant about the backing since the polka think is pretty far from rock n roll - but since I got lots of ideas from it figured others might as well...!

How long (roughly) should the section that we post our solo against be?

It can be as long or short as you would like it to be - just four well placed notes might work very well!

I've been jamming over the backing and I like the ideas that I played over this section so I worked this part a bit adding some harmonized guitars. smile.gif

Here is another collab I put together awhile back. This one was all GMC members doing parts from Cliffs of Dover! I had a blast putting this together, the guys did a KILLER job! Most of the members aren't around anymore...but I think you will recognize the last player! wink.gif

Just noticed this seems to be E Flat Minor. So tune down a half step, or transpose as needed smile.gif

Amazing! biggrin.gif Loved it Gabriel - it has everything, melody, harmony and shred. I must also say I am hearing some awesome legato chops in there?! Can't wait to move on with this one.

I am quite sure we will find a place for everyone in this collab (we have the option to do different versions etc). However in your case I wouldn't be very worried as I have seen some great stuff from you!
