Finally got it today and I am on my second listen as I type smile.gif

All I can say is I LOVE the album... definitely some flashes of the old albums but still sounds completely fresh to my ears. So wish I could have gone to see them in Montreal earlier this year cause I understand they did some of the stuff off this album, would have been great to hear live.

So gonna be a good ride to work in the morning cool.gif

Finally listening to the album now on Spotify.

There are some nice tracks there for my taste, mainly Coming Home, The Talisman & The Final Frontier. Still have to listen to the final two tracks in there. I've only listened to them once, but as much as I love Maiden the album seems a bit weak compared to their older stuff. I love all their albums until Fear of the dark (included). After that, they have certain songs I like, but not as much as before.

Having said that i hope they keep releasing new albums for 100 more years to come tongue.gif, Up The Irons! smile.gif

Just listened to the Final Frontier on youtube - I don't know. I stopped listening to Maiden as a hard-core follower right after Piece of Mind. Powerslave was a new direction for them, IMO, one that I didn't care to follow. I was more into the Killers era of that band, and Bruce was certainly a killer addition for Number and Mind, but I just lost interest after that.

Final Frontier really doesn't draw me back. I'm still a huge fan of their first albums tho.

I have to agree with Zakk. I found the album very boring. It didn't live up to my expectations even though I didn't expect much.
Accepts new album was a positive surprise though, don't even miss Udo

I have to say...I agree with the others here that were disappointed. I think the album is incredibly boring, with nothing to remember after listening to it. The only song that I thought had merit was Coming Home. A great tune actually...but the rest of the album seems so forced, and it doesn't seem to flow...at least not to me. Keep in mind that I am a H-U-G-E Maiden fan! Oh well...guess I'll go back to Brave New World!

So, I bought the album and have to say: It is not as good as I would have expected, in fact, it is boring. I usually love their newer albums (starting with Brave New World), but this one just doesn't have any instant classics on it. Maybe the Talisman, that is a great song. Anyway, I'll listen to it a few times more, maybe I'll change my mind.

I agree this is quite boring album. Surely a disappointment.
