Any Southpaws That Play Right Handed Out There?

There are many famous left handed guitarists that play right handed, Herman Li and Chet Atkins are two that I can think of right now. In fact there are many, many famous guitarists that are actually left handed, and you'd be surprised to find out that your hero may actually be a lefty. I just can't think of any right now because I'm having a serious brain fart. So is it playing backwards? To me, thats the way it felt for a very long time, and to some degree still does. But that feeling is going away now that my right hand is gaining strength and dexterity. I have been working on Danilo Capezzuto's "Right Hand Basics" and it has helped me out tremendously. Well, you're right on all counts except for the bold, brilliant and exceptionally cunning part. Hmmm. I guess being lefty and playing righty might make it easier to learn the left hand stuff, like fretting the strings, legato and such. But there's the drawback of not being right handed that for me it seems like my right hand skills lag. But as I work on alternate picking, I'm finding that it takes good timing with both left and right hands to make it work. So I can't say for sure if there are real disadvantages or advantages. We need to find out if there are any "backwards" players out there who can really shred. That would put an end to the mystery. Thoughts? I know Jimi Hendrix was lefty, but didn't he play his guitar upside down without re-stringing it? Or did he play a right handed guitar left handed and strung upside down? Jimi played upside down but the guitar was strung the normal way, i.e. the high E was towards the ground. However, he did write right handed, so he was a righty playing lefty, thereby making him a "backwards player, just like us. I think we're on to something here Herman Li from DragonForce is a backwards player, and that dude can shred. Alexi Laiho I believe is also a backwards player, and he's another shredder. There are many other famous guitarists out there that are backward players, I just can't think of them right now. But strumming with your weak hand shouldn't be considered a disability. This Chinese man can rock the piano with his feet.
