Good Stuff Todd. I really enjoyed last Saturdays lesson. I have been playing the lick (not the riff) that you covered over and over and have developed some speed that has me excited about my alternate picking again.
I guess I should go and look for the tabs so I can remember the riff and put it all together now. This is a really cool thing you have going and I hope that you have the time to continue it far into the future. I am impressed with the quality of the material that you cover and the time that you take to make it fun and enjoyable. I've uploaded the backing track for PROJECT 21! I can't wait to hear what you guys come up with! Here is a link to the post.

Also, it works to shift the position of the scale to match the key change so D minor, then A minor, then E minor. But feel free to use anything or any scale you feel! Todd |

Todd I downloaded the track and started to play over it and I am having a big problem with the guitar parts that are already in there... If I just concentrate on the drums and bass and ignore the guitar shredding thats already going on in the track I can come up with some things. But it always sounds like a big mass of confusion with the other guitar tracks in the backing.... Maybe if it just had the riff in there without the fast lick part then there would be more room for my guitar part.....
