Hey there, havent been here very often lately... Most of my time goes to my son and my diploma exams these days. But i thought i could share a little story with all of you...

My son is a bit loud sometimes. He screams a lot and sometimes it calms him down when i play on my acoustic guitar. At first i was just playing random chords but i got bored by that realy fast. So i started to play the first notes of Blind Guardians Bards Song over and over again. It was better than random chords, but still boring. So i started to learn a little bit of that song every few days and since i have to play for my son a lot i quickly got better at that song.
And the best thing is, its almost guaranteed i can get my son to sleep with the Bards song smile.gif I am still working on it but i think i will get the whole song by the end of the year wink.gif

Having to play for your little son is a great way of practising wink.gif

Haha, that's cool! I wonder what Marcus will say when he hears that this BG epic song became some kind of lullaby...wink.gif

Hehe, i hope he will remember it and i hope he will not hear music i dont like smile.gif But who can tell? Its almost sure he will NOT do what i tell him when hes a little bit older smile.gif So i try not to tell him to listen to rock and metal music, instead i use subliminal methods like i mentioned above wink.gif

Very good story! Its always good to have motivation for learning new songs. Before I started to play in bands I didn't know too many full songs.
